Customization for ultrasonic transducers – we can.

Customization for ultrasonic transducers? – We can do that.

Flexibility, customization, and individual solutions—these are the strengths that set SECO apart from its growing global competition.

We offer our customers customizable products that are perfectly tailored to their specific applications. An example: Our standard SC031 transducer is typically equipped with a polyurethane encapsulation and black and red Teflon strands. At the customer’s request, we quickly developed variants with two brass sleeves of different heights and an extended coaxial cable. The result: an elegant design that also allows for easy installation even in confined spaces.

For challenging environmental conditions and special applications, we offer a wide range of customization options and additional equipment—even for projects involving small quantities. Do you need something special? Together, we will find the optimal solution for your measurement task.

Customization for ultrasonic transducers – individual solutions for maximum precision

The customization of ultrasonic transducers is a significant trend in modern measurement technology. Standardized models meet many requirements in industry, but special applications call for individual solutions in order to achieve maximum performance and precision.

Through precise customization, transducers can be optimally tailored to specific operating conditions, special materials, or complex geometric requirements. This results in products that are not only technically impressive, but also precisely tailored to the needs of our customers.

Individual customizations? – We are happy to do so.

Material selection and frequency adjustment: the key to successful customization

An important aspect of customization is the choice of materials. Depending on the application, different materials can be selected for the housing, diaphragm, or protective coating of the transducer. These material adjustments ensure that the transducers work reliably even under extreme conditions.

Frequency adjustment also plays a key role in customer-specific development. Depending on the area of application, the operating frequency of the transducer can vary—for optimal signal transmission and maximum sensitivity.

A wide range of design options for individual requirements

SECO offers a wide range of design options to tailor ultrasonic transducers precisely to the respective application. Whether mounted in a tin-plated metal shield for high EMC compatibility, integrated into a customer-specific housing, or using a PU molded part for geometrically flexible solutions—the possibilities are endless. Special variants such as arrays for area transmission or brass sleeves for cost-efficient installation situations are also available.

Flexible contacts and additional equipment

SECO offers numerous options for the electrical connection of the transducers: from shielded coaxial wires to resistant Teflon and PVC wires to pins, solder pads, or crimp connectors. Additional features such as EMC coatings, front surface seals, or integrated heaters expand the range of possible applications—even under demanding environmental conditions.

Geometric design for optimal integration

In addition, geometric design plays an important role in customization. We tailor the shape and size of the transducer to the specific requirements of the customer in order to facilitate integration into existing systems. This is particularly relevant for applications with limited installation space, complex geometries, or predefined customer-specific housings.

Customization as a strategic advantage

Customization enables companies to not only maximize the performance and reliability of their ultrasonic transducers, but also to increase the efficiency of their processes and secure competitive advantages. Customization is thus becoming a key success factor in the development of modern ultrasonic systems.
