Ever since our company was founded in 1996, we have been committed to working in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. We implement this deeply rooted principle internally with a comprehensive environmental management system and also try to inspire our customers, suppliers and business partners with this idea. The focal points of our environmental policy are based on sustainable and resource-conserving behavior through:

• promoting and strengthening the environmental awareness of interested parties

• the fulfillment of our binding obligations
• the continuous improvement of our environmental management system and our environmental performance

We pursue the following goals with our environmental policy:

• Reduction of raw, auxiliary and operating materials
• Minimizing packaging material
• Reducing business trips
• Increasing renewable energy and reducing CO2 emissions
• Systematic waste avoidance and sustainable waste recycling by qualified waste disposal service providers

What we do…

…to improve our CO2 emissions:

• Covering the majority of our energy requirements at both locations via photovoltaic systems
• CO2-neutral heating at main site via local district heating network
• Buildings comply with current energy-saving regulations
• Monitoring and statistical evaluation of energy consumption

…about waste:

• Waste reduction wherever possible
• Clearly defined and controlled waste routes
• Separation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Disposal of waste via certified companies
• Recycling of recyclable materials via specialized companies

…when selecting raw materials:

• Avoidance of conflict materials
• Switching to non-hazardous, harmless substances (e.g. lead-free solder)
• Development of new products in compliance with these requirements

Our environmental management system has been certified in accordance with ISO 14001 : 2015 since March 2024.
