High-tech from Bavarian Sensor Technology Cluster

The Sensor Technology Cluster and its co-exhibitors will also be presenting pure high-tech in 2024. SECO Sensor will be taking part in this year’s Sensor+Test at the joint stand of Strategische Partnerschaft Sensorik e.V.

Retirement – A new SECO chapter begins

After almost 30 years of outstanding leadership, we are saying goodbye to our esteemed company founder and managing partner Thomas Siebenhaar. He will enter his well-deserved retirement on March 31, 2024.

Ultrasonic sensors for your success

Conquer new market shares with ultrasonic sensors with premium ultrasonic transducers from SECO. These convert the sound waves into electrical signals with high accuracy and reliability – even under extreme conditions.

Ultrasonic transducer “Made in Upper Franconia”

SECO attaches great importance to regional networking. Our company is featured in the February issue of Sensorik-Magazin. Ultrasonic transducers “Made in Upper Franconia” is the motto of the article and also the credo of our work.

Piezoceramic disk at the heart of the transducer

We source our piezoceramic transducers from selected suppliers, preferably locally and with above-average quality standards. Our German main supplier manufactures a material that is specially specified for us.

Ultrasound in motion

As a specialist in the manufacture of ultrasonic transducers. In an interview with “Wirtschaftsforum” shareholder Thomas Siebenhaar and Managing Director Eugen Gergert talk about plans for the future.

Our smallest vs. largest

From smallest assemblies to longest ranges, SECO offers a suitable solution for every measuring task. Our miniature transducer is smaller than a 1 cent coin and can be used in nearly any measurement setup.

Renewable energies

Environmental protection in companies is crucial for a sustainable future. That is why we rely on renewable energies. We already draw a large part of our energy requirements at both sites from renewable sources.

Matching material from in-house production

Excellent ultrasonic transducers require a high-quality matching material that couples the vibrations of the piezo ceramic to the gaseous environment. At SECO we produce this ourselves according to our own recipe.
