Die Ultraschall Füllstandsmessung ist ein zuverlässiges, berührungsloses Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Füllständen in Behältern, Tanks oder Silos. Sie basiert auf dem Prinzip der Schallwellenreflexion. Dabei sendet ein Ultraschallsensor ein Signal aus und misst die Laufzeit, den das Signal für die Laufstrecke benötigt. Diese Messung ermöglicht eine schnelle und präzise Bestimmung des Füllstandes, ohne dass der Sensor direkten Kontakt mit dem zu messenden Medium benötigt.
The ultrasonic waves are generated by the ultrasonic transducer. On contact with the surface of the medium – be it liquid or bulk material – the waves are reflected and sent back to the sensor (pulse-echo operation). An ultrasonic transducer communicates with itself and acts as both a transmitter and a receiver. The time it takes for the signal to travel back and forth is detected and the fill level is determined precisely.
