Wherever you look at SECO, there is plenty to do.
All departments are working at full capacity and tirelessly produce thousands of first-class ultrasound transducers. In addition to our employees, our manufactory naturally requires the highest quality raw materials – such as our unique matching material. We produce this in-house using our own tried-and-tested recipe.
We use a lightweight, pressure-resistant epoxy filled with hollow glass beads of the highest quality, which is subject to only minimal fluctuations compared to products from external suppliers. Our “bar material team” uses this to produce thousands of matching material blanks in bar form. Later, these (geometrically matched and turned into shape) are the most important components of our SECO ultrasonic transducers.
For improved electromagnetic compatibility, we coat our fitting material body with metallization. It is also possible to seal the front surface of the transducer with our scratch-resistant, dirt-repellent protective coating. This is chosen by our customers especially for measurement tasks in demanding environments, for example wind measurement on wind turbines or in environmental monitoring.
Our aim is to build high-quality, durable and robust ultrasonic transducers with outstanding electro-acoustic properties. We pay particular attention to the four main components: piezo disk, matching material, potting compound and stranded wire. We manufacture our own materials for these components or source them from reliable suppliers with the highest quality standards. In this way, we ensure that our customers receive only the best products – with every ultrasonic transducer that leaves our company.
For us, our employees are more than just anonymous cogwheels. Our corporate culture is characterized by flat hierarchies and open, respectful communication. Together we produce ultrasonic transducers of outstanding quality. We rely on customer-oriented support, qualified employees and machine-supported manual work. Your satisfaction is our goal – we work on it every day.
One of our strengths is our flexibility. Thanks to our in-house production of matching material, stranded wires and potting compound, we are able to configure our transducers flexibly and extensively according to your customer requirements. We are happy to adapt any of our standard transducers to your individual requirements and environmental conditions with various housings, different contacting and optional additional equipment. Talk to us! Together we create the perfect transducer for your application.
