Our compliance philosophy
To ensure sustainable and fair corporate governance, we at SECO have a well thought-out compliance philosophy. In this way, we ensure legally and organizationally that our company reliably complies with all laws, standards and internal rules of conduct that affect us. To this end, we have summarized our principles in our Compliance Management Handbook.
ZVEI Code of Conduct
Außerdem haben wir uns dem ZVEI Code of Conduct verpflichtet, der SECO-intern Verfassungsrang hat. Somit richten sich alle unternehmerischen Tätigkeiten daran aus. Besonderen Wert legen wir auf eine langfristige Unternehmensstrategie, eine mitarbeiterorientierte Unternehmensführung, arbeiten ständig an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Technologie und achten auf den Schutz unserer Umwelt. Wir praktizieren die Grundsätze eines ordentlichen Kaufmanns, saubere Geschäftspraktiken, einen fairen Wettbewerb und haben klare Regeln gegen Korruption und Bestechung. Die Einhaltung dieser Compliance-Grundsätze wird durch eine eigens eingerichtete Compliance-Stabsstelle, sowie ein internes Kontrollsystem und eine jährliche Schulung aller Mitarbeitenden gewährleistet.

Compliance at SECO Sensor: responsibility with a system
For SECO Sensor, compliance means more than just adhering to legal regulations. We understand it as a conscious commitment to responsibility, integrity and transparency – towards our customers, partners, employees and society.
Our aim is to make business decisions based on a clear set of values. We have therefore established internal structures and processes to ensure that legal requirements, internal company guidelines and ethical standards are adhered to at all times. These include product safety, occupational health and safety, data protection and the responsible use of resources.
Compliance is not a one-off project at SECO, but a continuous process. Our employees are regularly trained and sensitized to identify risks at an early stage and act responsibly. In day-to-day activities, this means reliable processes, fair business practices and a clear stance on corruption and conflicts of interest.

SECO also supports fair and just working conditions. We advocate a ban on all child and forced labor and try to enforce this through our selection of suppliers. It goes without saying that we pay our employees equally regardless of gender and respect working hours, breaks and vacation days.
Provide information
To meet this requirement, SECO has set up a whistleblower system. Employees, business partners and third parties can use this system to report irregular behavior at any time. Please report information by e-mail to hinweis@seco-sensor.de, by telephone to our office on 09561/869-141 or by letter.
Of course, external electronic reporting via the Federal Office of Justice is also possible.
All reports received are treated confidentially. In addition, every report is documented in the internal system and processed reliably in accordance with a defined procedure. The whistleblower does not have to expect any reprisals or disadvantages in their future professional life. Personal data collected as part of a report is only used to process the compliance case. A report can also be made anonymously.
