As for the whole world, Corona is also an enormous burden for the SECO family. As a system-relevant company, we manufacture ultrasound transducers for intensive care ventilators. Because of this, home office solutions have never been an issue and the presence of healthy and fit colleagues is more important than ever.
Therefore, since the beginning of the crisis, the following has of course also applied to us: wear masks, keep your distance, wash your hands, disinfect surfaces. But it is above all in the interpersonal sphere that our colleagues are suffering from the Corona-related restrictions: strictly separated breaks, no lunch together, cancelled training days, company outings, visits to customers and trade shows – our entire social life at a distance.
We are therefore all the more proud that a comprehensive vaccination program has been in place in our comparatively small company since June 8, 2021. After every person willing to be vaccinated has received an offer from the company doctor, we will achieve a vaccination rate of an incredible 80% after administering the second vaccination dose at the end of July.
In this way, we are all taking a further step towards safety and normality.
We would like to thank all our colleagues for their exemplary compliance with the AHA rules and the responsible implementation of our hygiene concept. Thanks to your commitment, there have been no infections within our company since the beginning of the crisis. With your help it is possible to come to work with a good feeling despite Corona.
