Inspiration and customer focus
Apart from a range of standard transducers we have been principally developing and manufacturing customer-specific ultrasonic transducers for air and gas application since October 1996. Our customers receive high quality and highly competitive solutions for their demanding tasks from our two plants in Coburg and Küps based in Upper Franconia in Germany.
Our customers appreciate our consistently high quality, which is repeatedly confirmed in regularly conducted customer surveys.
This success is firstly down to our knowledge in the field of transducer design and process technology, and secondly to the commitment and the experience of our well-established, highly motivated team.
The utilisation of our own acoustic adapter material is a key element in our product optimisation endeavours - likewise the use of Finite Element Technology to simulate the properties of our oscillators.
Our effective quality management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001 and assures our quality level. This was last verified on 7th April 2020 by the TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.
Inspiration and customer focus mean for us an intensive exchange of ideas with every individual customer to ascertain his individual requirements and to react flexibly and swiftly to his wishes. In the process we can rely on more than 20 years of experience in the development and manufacture of piezoceramic ultrasonic transducers in a vast range of applications.
By using regenerative energies we are doing our bit to protect the environment. In this way we cover, for example, a considerable percentage of our own electricity requirements by employing solar panels at both sites in Coburg and Küps. In addition, we employ gas heat pumps for cooling and heating in Küps. Both sites fulfil the stipulations of the current valid energy saving ordinance.
SECO Sensor Consult GmbH is based in Coburg in Upper Franconia.
We have been based in the Technology Centre in Coburg since the company was established in October 1996 - initially as subtenant, and for the past five years as main tenant. Success brought with it a greater demand for space, which was why we moved our 35 member team in early 2014 to a completely refurbished industrial building. The new premises have a total surface area of 2000 m_ and have been especially tailored to our organisational and technical requirements.
SECO Sensor Consult has been operating a second manufacturing plant in Küps (Kronach district) since early 2004. In the spring of 2013 we inaugurated our new production hall with over 900 m_ of utilisable surface area.
The concept for the new building, which has a modern design emphasising diffused light, was developed by local architect Harald Eichhorn. 15 employees currently work at the Küps site.
Flat hierarchies ensure effective management and accelerate our production processes. SECO champions customer focus, personal responsibility and teamwork - both in the development department as well as from our employees in production; these play a fundamental role in assuring the quality of our products. A fine eye, a steady hand and, in particular, a self-critical, unrelenting awareness of quality characterise our production team.
